Two Wilton Men Serving In Italy Meet By Chance
Two Wilton young men, Staff Sgt. Francis William Atkinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl E. Atkinson, and Sgt. Tom E. Lange, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Lange, met somewhere in Italy a short time ago, according to word received by their parents.
The two Wilton boys, who were pals prior to the war, are located just eight miles apart in Italy, the parents have been informed. They met, however, by chance as they were coming out of a movie.

Francis William Atkinson was born Dec. 26, 1916 to Earl E. and Irene E. Kelley Atkinson. He died Mar. 13, 1990 and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA.
