Pfc. Arthur Ashcraft Wounded in Action
Pfc. Arthur Ashcraft was wounded recently while serving with the 84th infantry division in Germany according to a telegram received Monday from the War Department by his mother, Mrs. Rose Wissler, 612 Court street.
Pvt. Ashcraft, formerly a truck driver, entered the Army July 21, 1944, spent six months in Texas and was sent overseas last January 1. His wife and three children live with his mother.
