IN UNIFORM.
Cpl. Arthur W. Anderson, a surgical technician in the army medical department, has resumed duties at Fort Lewis, Wash., after a furlough spent with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Anderson, 1916 Bryan street, and with other relatives and friends here and in Sioux Falls, S.D. A brother, Cpl. Victor Anderson, is now stationed in Holland with a heavy construction battalion of the air force signal corps. He has also seen service in England, France, Luxembourg and Belgium, since entering the army in February, 1943.

Sgt. Arthur W. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Anderson, 1916 Bryan Street, has been honorably discharged from the army at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Sgt. Anderson entered the army in 1942 and served with a medical detachment in the British West Indies for 20 months. After his return to the States, he was assigned to a hospital train unit at San Francisco and later as an instructor at Fort Lewis, Washington. At the time of his discharge he had been a member of a hospital ship platoon which had been on duty in the Atlantic.
