WOUNDED
Sgt. Thomas Vincent Aldrich was wounded in Germany March 7, the War Department has informed his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Aldrich, 2119 S. Helen street. He is now at a hospital somewhere in England. Serving with an anti-aircraft division, Sgt. Aldrich has been with Gen. Patton’s army one year and took part in the D-day invasion.
A brother, Sgt. Marvin Aldrich, who spent three years overseas, was recently granted a medical discharge. With the Navy is another brother, Kenneth Aldrich, first class pharmacist’s mate, now stationed at Portsmouth, N.H. He had 27 months overseas.
