MEN IN SERVICE
Glenn W. Adcock, technician, fifth grade, is spending a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Adcock, 1810 Lakeport road. He went into the Army in June of 1942 and was sent to Camp Swift, Texas, where he remained until being sent to officers training school of field artillery at Camp Sill, Okla., seven weeks ago. He will remain in Sioux City until January 21, when he will return to Camp Sill to complete his officer's training. Mr. Adcock was graduated from East high school and Morningside College, where he was a stellar basketball player on Maroon teams three years.
