Maj. John H. Adair

Maj. John H. Adair, son of Mrs. Edna M. Adair, 422 19th street, now is stationed at Tinker field, Okla., where he is assigned to an army air force base unit for maintenance and repair of aircraft and the training of air depot groups.  His wife and two sons reside at Oklahoma City, Okla.

Maj. John H. Adair, whose wife, Thelma, lives at 922 34th street, is being released from the army air forces this week at Camp Atterbury, Ind., with 105 points.  Maj. Adair’s last assignment was with the air technical service command in the judge advocate division at Wright field, O.  He has been in the armed forces since January, 1942, served in Africa and China, and wears E. F. M. E. –China-Burma-India combat Libya-Egypt and Tunisian-China award.  Before entering the Army, where he served as a supply officer of the 14th air force in China and later at Wright field in the judge advocate division.  Maj. Adair was an attorney in Chicago, but plans to practice in Sioux City.  He has 15 points for combat and 28 for foreign service; was in China and helped in the beginning of the 20th branch command there with supply and airfield instruction.

Maj. John H. Adair, whose wife Thelma L., lives at 922 34th street, will be released from the army air forces Thursday at Camp Atterbury, Ind., Maj. Adair, in the service since January, 1942, was with the air technical service command in the judge advocate division at Wright field, O., for his last assignment.  He also served in Africa and China, and had 105 points to his credit.  A former attorney in Chicago, Maj. Adair plans to practice in Sioux City following his discharge.
