Pvt. Charles Adair of Leon, who participated in the invasion of France, writes his aunt, Mrs. Edgar Epperly, that he just became a little homesick when he crossed the channel from England. He advised he was on deck all the time. He is in a tank battalion. The letter was dated June 18.
