In a fitting ceremony held at the church on Sunday, February 6th, the Ladies Guild of Runnells Church of Christ, unveiled and dedicated a plaque containing the names of 54 Runnells young men, who are enlisted in the service of their country. Of the 54 names appearing on the plaque, two are honored by gold stars as testimony of the supreme sacrifice already made. It is most proper that the churches of America assume an active roll in honoring those who have offered their lives that religious institutions may be permitted to live.
