William Ernest Burke, Jr. was born Dec. 18, 1917 to William Enos (Sr.) and Mary E. Fisher Burke. He died Sept. 16, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Dinoze, France and in Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
Sgt. Burke served in World War II with the U.S. Army 70th Tank Battalion and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Carl August Burnett was born Aug. 14, 1914 to James Edward and Amelia Gierman Burnett. He died Sept. 16, 1943 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, IA.
Sgt. Burnett served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died as a result of an airplane accident at Fort Myers, FL.

Robert Lee Butrick, Sr. was born Aug. 27, 1923 to Jasper Francisco and Sarah “Sadie” Alzina Frazier Butrick. He died Jan. 15, 2007 and is buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh, IA.
Robert served in World War II with the U.S. Army.
