Capt. Robert Frederick Edmondson was born Jan. 13, 1917 to Elmore Leroy and Jessie F. Williams Edmondson. He died Jan. 2, 1997 and is buried in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
As an Ensign, he was awarded the Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism in operations against the enemy while serving as Pilot of a carrier-based Navy Dive Bomber of Bombing Squadron TWO (VB-2), attached to the USS Lexington (CV-2), in action against enemy Japanese forces in the air battle of the Coral Sea. He also served in Korea.

Archie Miller Euwer was born Oct. 5, 1901 to Matthew Rowan and Mary Ruth Miller Euwer. He died Apr. 16, 1945 and was buried at sea and memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington, IA.
Petty Officer Euwer served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bryant (DD-665) and was was KIA on that ship by a Japanese kamikaze attack. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
