Earl Andrew Hoogensen was born Mar. 2, 1909 to Nels Hansen and Carolina Sophia Hoogensen. He died Jan. 16, 1944 and is buried in Jacksonville Cemetery, Jacksonville, IA.
Sgt. Hoogensen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 1st Ferrying Squadron, 6th Ferrying Group based in Long Beach, CA. He died as the result of a plane crash while enroute to Belem, Brazil.

Virgil Milton Hulsebus was born July 28, 1915 to Louis and Elsie Pryer Hulsebus. He died Oct. 13, 1963 and is buried in Harlan Cemetery, Harlan, IA. Pvt. Hulsebus served with the U.S. Army 320th Infantry in World War II.

William Lyle Hulsebus was born Dec. 2, 1920 to Rudolph and Ella Young Hulsebus. He died Oct. 9, 1944 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Hulsebus served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was killed in a truck accident in the Hawaiian Islands.
