Wilbert Harold Jackson was born June 4, 1909 to Arthur Walter and Amelia Gorenflo Jackson. He died Dec. 8, 1944 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Pvt. Jackson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 17th Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division and was KIA on Leyte Island, Philippine Islands and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
