Stephen Harvey “Steve” Wurtz was born Oct. 12, 1921 to Joseph Charles and Marie Jensen Wurtz. He died Sept. 29, 2011 and is buried in Sunland Memorial Park, Sun City, AZ.

2nd Lt. Wurtz served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was a German POW.
