Stanley D. Luchsinger was born Mar. 11, 1921 to Jacob and Lillian Trede Luchsinger. He died Dec. 23, 1944 and is buried in Minden Township Cemetery, Minden, IA.
Sgt. Luchsinger served in World War II with the U.S. Army 33rd Armored Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Division and was KIA in Belgium.

Walter August Wilhelm Lueth was born Nov. 28, 1909 to John Claus and Christine Amelia “Amelia” Teleskey Lueth. He died Nov. 13, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Chief Petty Officer Lueth served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Juneau (CL-52) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was sunk on the Battle of Guadalcanal. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
