Lester Robert Reekers was born Apr. 11, 1925 to Henry and Nellie Rozeboom Reekers. He died Sept. 10, 2017 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

2nd Lt. Reekers served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was awarded the Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Robert Wayne Regennitter was born Mar. 15, 1925 to Henry J. and Beulah Cliff Regennitter. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and is buried in Waterman Cemetery, Sutherland, IA.

Sgt. Regennitter served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 484th Bomb Squadron as a tail gunner on a B-24 Liberator. His plane received sustained damage from enemy anti-aircraft fire in Italy and he was MIA/KIA.

Francis Lawrence “Reiffy” Reiffenberger was born Dec. 6, 1922 to Fred and Amanda Shueder Reiffenberger. He died Jan. 30, 2010 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, MN. 

Cpl. Reiffenberger served with the U.S. Air Force and then in the U.S. Army 18th Tank Battalion, 8th Armored Division. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge, the Battle of Berlin and the Hartz Mountains Campaigns in World War II.

Walter Edwin Hugo Reimann was born Oct. 26, 1919 to Nathaniel and Amanda Srock Reimann. He died Nov. 5, 1944 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Albert Lea, MN.

Pvt. Reimann served in World War II with the U.S. Army 323rd Infantry Regiment, 81st Infantry Division.

Myrl William Reinfeld was born Dec. 19, 1925 to Alfred Henry and Mary M. Lenhart Reinfeld. He died Feb. 3, 1996 and is buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hartley, IA.

Myrl served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
