Richard Leo Hart was born Aug. 18, 1920 to Richard J. and Kathleen Marie Winch Hart. He died Jan. 22, 1945 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Sgt. Hart served in World War II with the U.S. Army 20th Infantry Regiment, 6th Infantry Division. He was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
