Felix Saldana was born May 18, 1924 to Merced and Mary Saldana. He died May 18, 1944 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pvt. Saldana served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died near the Rapid City Army Air Base, Rapid City, SD in an airplane crash when B-17G Flying Fortress #42-107133, suddenly, for reasons not determined, nose dived into the ground from about 2,000 feet elevation. All aboard perished.

Robert Claire Sanderson was born July 22, 1922 to Arlo Melvin and Laura H. Sanderson. He died Jan. 20, 1945 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery and has a cenotaph in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Mount Vernon, IA.
Lt. Sanderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 825th Bomber Squadron, 484th Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.

James J. Santee, Jr. was born May 26, 1923 to James (Sr.) and Pearl Mae Santee. He died Aug. 6, 1944 and is buried in Murdoch-Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pvt. Santee served in World War II with the U.S. Army 83rd Racine Tank Battalion and was KIA in France.
