Wayne Calvin Rundall was born June 15, 1922 to Earl E. and Edna Minnie Rundall. He died Nov. 13, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Rundall served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Laffey (DD-459) that was sunk by the Japanese during a night battle in the early stages of the naval battle of Guadalcanal. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Joseph Irving Russell was born July 5, 1910 to Frank I. and Mary McWilliams Russell. He died May 29, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Murdoch-Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Robert Allison Russell was born May 21, 1926 to Joseph and Merle L. Russell. He died Mar. 9, 1945 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA. He was initially buried in the 3rd Marine Division Cemetery on Iwo Jim and returned to the US. in 1948.
Pvt. Russell served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 21st Marines, 3rd Marine Division and was KIA in combat operations on Iowa Jima.
