James Joseph Auge was born June 27, 1922 to William C. and Louise C. Nagel Auge. He died Feb. 2, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Auge served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was lost at sea south of Savo Island and was awarded the Purple Heart.
