Howard Henry Pfundheller was born Oct. 15, 1917 to Heinrich Albert “Henry” and Lydia Gelhaus Pfundheller. He died Oct. 7, 1956 and is buried in Flood Creek Cemetery, Floyd County, IA.
Cpl. Pfundheller served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division Medical Detachment and became a POW for 2-1/2 yrs.
