William Allan “Bill” Tegeler was born Aug. 3, 1922 to Raymond and Clara Claus Tegeler. He died Nov. 27, 2016 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.
1st Lt. Tegeler served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He served as a fighter pilot flying many airplanes, most notable P-20s and P-38s, in the Aleutian Islands.

John Thill was born about 1922 to John J. and Nellie May Dasher Thill. He died Jan. 18, 1946 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Thill served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA while in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.

Raymond James Tobin was born Oct. 27, 1908 to Frank and Theresa Juergens Tobin. He died July 23, 1948 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, IA.
Pvt. Tobin served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Department at the 76th General Hospital.

Francis Richard Turner was born Oct. 23, 1918 to Edward Albert and Ella Scherrer Turner. He died Dec. 4, 1947 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Cascade, IA.
Sgt. Turner served with the U.S. Army 4th Ordnance Dept. in World War II.
