Alfred Lenley “Pat” Weaver was born Mar. 17, 1910 to William Howe and Anna May Jones Weaver. He died Feb. 25, 1945 and is buried in Silver Lake Cemetery, Lake Park, IA. 

Petty Officer Weaver served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Salamaua (CVE-96) and died while in the service of his country.

John Hafer Webb was born Dec. 15, 1923 to John I. and Ella G. Hafer Webb. He died Feb. 29, 2016 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

1st Lt. Webb served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was awarded the Air Medal and 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Hans Wiese was born Mar. 12, 1908 to Hans Peter and Lena Walters Wiese. He died Oct. 29, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Dinoze, France. 

Pvt. Wiese served in World War II with the U.S. Army 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Donald Carlyle “Don” Wright was born Sept.23, 1923 to Burr Clayton and Gladys Leah Root Wright. He died Nov. 22, 2021 and is buried in West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka, KS. 

Don served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bray (DE-709).
