Daniel Milton Fairchild was born Sept. 16, 1926 to Enos Eli and Bessie Belle Shaffer Fairchild. He died Feb. 6, 1982 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Milford, IA. Petty Officer Fairchild served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Joseph “Joe" Faisst was born July 7, 1902 in Cologne, Germany to Joseph and _________ Faisst. He died Apr. 20, 1976 and is buried in Saint Patricks Cemetery, Estherville, IA. Sgt. Faisst served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Kenneth Leroy Farmer was born Jan. 28, 1924 to Elwin Leroy and Ida Fern Hunt Farmer. He died May 29, 2006 and is buried in Saint Margaret Cemetery, Orleans, IA.

Darold Dean Faulkner was born Feb. 21, 1926 to Chester C. and Jennie McRunnels Faulkner. He died Aug. 17, 1991 and is buried in Union Mound Cemetery, Sumner, IA. Coxswain Faulkner served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Seabees.

Robert Eugene Faulkner was born Mar. 16, 1923 to Chester C. and Jennie McRunnels Faulkner. He died July 7, 2012 and is buried in Milford Cemetery, Milford, IA. 

Pvt. Faulkner served in World War II with the U.S. Army 149th Combat Engineers and was in the first wave of the Normandy Invasion on D-Day.

Ervin Gerhart Ficken was born Aug. 25, 1920 to John and Tena Lorenzen Ficken. He died Mar. 4, 1999 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, IA. Ervin served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a B-24 engine mechanic, stationed in Italy.

William Kenneth “Kenneth” Fliss was born Nov. 23, 1916 to Andrew Jacob and Lela Alpharetta Case Fliss. He died Oct. 23, 1989 and is buried in Southern Memorial Gardens, Dunkirk, MD. Kenneth served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Arlo George Fox was born Jan. 28, 1917 to Arthur Henry and Clara Herrig Fox. He died Dec. 8, 1990 and is buried in Spirit Lake Memorial Gardens, Spirit Lake, IA. 

Arlo served with the U.S. Ranger Battalion, being trained in Scotland and Ireland by members of the British Commandos. He was First Sgt. of the 3rd Ranger Battalion and participated in action in Algeria French Morocco, Sicily, Naples, Rome and was captured by the Germans at Cistemo, Italy. He was held in Stalag B2 near the German-Polish border.

Thomas Fries was born Feb. 16, 1916 to Thomas and Anna Steuben Fries. He died May 26, 1997 and is buried in Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Walnut Township, Palo Alto County, IA. Thomas served in World War II with the U.S. Army Field Artillery.
