Clarence Peter “Peter” Christensen was born Nov. 11, 1920 to Andrew J. and Carrie Mary Robinson Christensen. He died Mar. 21, 2002. Peter served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Maurice Robinson Clark was born Oct. 27, 1921 to Clarence Orval and Vivian Estella Ferguson Clark. Maurice served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Merrill Chilton Clark was born July 16, 1921 to Vernon and Rhoda Mary Madsen Clark. He died Oct. 3, 1981 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Estherville, IA. Merrill served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

John Cecil “Cecil” Cook was born Aug. 2, 1922 to John Clyde and Hulda Pauline Johnson Cook. He died Sept. 6, 1970 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, IA. Petty Officer Cook served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Leonard Howard “Lindy” Cook was born June 15, 1920 to Julius and Maggie Maas Cook. He died Aug. 3, 2013 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Terril, IA. Lindy served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Milton Donald “Red” Cronk was born Dec. 2, 1922 to Harry Winfield and Alma Emma Mason Cronk. He died Sept. 9, 2022 and is buried in Odd Fellows Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Tumwater, WA. 

Red served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and was selected to be a Marine Raider, 3rd Battalion, South Pacific Theatre. He was wounded during combat on Bougainville and received the Purple Heart.

John Eldon “Eldon" Cruse II was born May 9, 1920 to Elwood and Hilda Marking Cruse. He died June 20, 2009 and is buried in Saint Timothy Episcopal Church Columbarium, West Des Moines, IA. Eldon served in World War II with the U.S. Navy, stationed in the Aleutian Islands as an OS2U Kingfisher aircraft radio operator.
