Petty Officer Huff served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Frank served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps Second Marine Division Sixth Regiment, First Battalion, Headquarters Company in the South Pacific.

Petty Officer Humphrey served in World War II with the U.S. Coast Guard.

Pvt. Hurtig served in World War II with the U.S. Army 105th Engineer Combat Battalion, 30th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in Germany.
