David Franklin Tidball was born Oct. 9, 1921 to Raymon F. and Irma I. Hopkins Tidball. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 2, Honolulu, Hawaii and at the US Oklahoma Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Petty Officer Tidball served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) and was MIA/FOD/KIA in the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
