Lowell Clinton Gustafson was born July 15, 1922 to John A. and Louise Van Rossum. He died Aug. 29, 1942 and is buried in Lakeside Cemetery, Heron Lake, MN.

Cpl. Gustafson served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and died in the service of his country on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands.
