Tingley Centennial: 1883 ~1983
WAR VETERANS of WWI, WWII KOREAN, and VIETNAM WARS
Many people who have been or are now residents of the Tingley area have served in the Military Service in times of war
and peace. Some who have entered the service while living elsewhere have later moved to Tingley. Some who were living here
when they started to serve no longer live here. Some who have been reisdents here at one time entered the service while
living in other parts of the United States. Some veterans have lived around Tingley all or most of their lives. The complete
records of all these veterans are not available, and it would not be fair to attempt to list all of them as someone might
inadvertently be left out.
