A sad accident, sudden death of Irvin Swinney, kicked by a horse. Steve Greenleaf will teach a 4 month term of school at Unionville, Appanoose County, Iowa. He has taught in the schools of this county for several years. We are happy to state, to, his numerous friends that Tom Wallace, who was reported killed by Indians last week, is yet in the land of the living. The basement of the new school house was nearly half filled with water Monday morning, from the rain Sunday night.
