Know ye, That Knud Holverson a Private of Captain [blank] Company, (B) 1st Batt'n , 16th Regiment of U.S. Infty VOLUNTEERS, who was enlisted on the sixth day of November one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve Three years, ~~or during the war,~~ is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this 24th day of June 1862, at Florence Ala. ~~by reason of~~ ~~[blank]~~

~~[No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)~~

Said Knud Holverson was born in Norway , is Twenty seven years of age, 5 feet 4 1/2 inches high, Light complexion, Blue eyes, Brown hair and by occupation when enrolled a Farmer.

Given at Florence, Ala., this 24th day of June 1862.
