(A), 111th Regiment of Infantry New York
State VOLUNTEERS, who was
enrolled on the Fourteenth day
of September one thousand eight hundred
and Sixty Four to serve one year,
or during the war, is hereby Discharged
from the service of the United States, this 4th day
of June 1865, near Alexandria
Virginia. by
reason of G.O. No. 26 Hd Qrs A of P. May 17th,
1865 Said George C. Wachmuth was born in Prussia in the State of [blank] is 25 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches high, light complexion, blue eyes, light hair and by occupation when enrolled a Cabinet Maker. Given Near Alexandria Va this 4th day of June 1865. A. Seeley N. L. Wood __________ [written in bottom left hand corner:]
