It is 60 miles northeast of Council Bluffs, 82 west of Des Moines and 440 west of Chicago, Ill. This is the trade center of a prosperous agricultural district and is supplied with 12 churches, excellent educational facilities, water works, fire department, opera house, 4 banks and 2 newspapers. There are several elevators, iron works, planing mill, canning factory, knitting factory, machine shops, creamery, etc. Ships grain, live stock, produce and canned goods. Tel., Postal and W. U.
