Thank You! I could really use some help. I have been to Wright Co. twice but haven't been able to stay long enough to dig deep. I am trying to see if there is a connection between Thomas and Catherine Williams to Peter Williams. It is possible that he is their son but haven't found anything yet. I know that in 1870 they all lived in Buchanan Co. Peter was in a household with a Maria ?Polton? and Thomas and Catherine lived the next place. Then after Peter married Matilda Ironside they all ended up in Wright Co.
I did find an article in the Wright County Monitor that mentions his (Thomas) death but it didn't mention family except a son Henry. I have not found a obituary for Peter yet.
I do plan on going to Des Moines in a couple of weeks, I've never been there before so I'm not real sure on where I should start. Any pointers you can give me or information on the family would be greatly appreciated.
