This is not a query, but I knew of no way to contact you as you may pass this information to any interested families. A friend, Douglas Bernard Kirkpatrick, has published an excellent history of the Bernard family, "From Alsace to America: The Bernard Family." Since he has the family genealogy to the 1600's, included are many families in Iowa--Claude, Loux, Marshall, Rochel, Scheidecker, etc.,etc. Contains 255 pages including 316 photos (a number not identified and could be Iowans), and 22 maps. Available on Amazon. You may contact me thru e-mail for additional information, or I can put any interested parties in contact with Doug. I am passing this information to you as I did not ask him if he had contacts in Wright & surrounding counties. Thank you.
