1888 Marriage Record

I'm looking about any information I can get about Carrie Svenson Berven, born in Norway, and William O'Connor, born in Louisiana. They are my great great grandparents. To my knowledge they were married in Eagle Grove Iowa in 1888. They had three children, Mary, Margaret, and William Clarence. Carrie O'Connor died in Eagle Grove in 1916. According to a 1910 census she was widowed. I would really like to know what happened to William O'Connor and any information would be greatly appreciated and a marriage record could be extremely useful. Thank you.
