James H. Haas [September 1858 - April 1939]
Sarah May (Livingston) Haas [July 17, 1864 -- January 29, 1946]; Sarah Livingston was the daughter of Jacob Livingston and Mary Teters Livingston. James H. Haas and Sarah Livingston were married in Livingston County, Illinois on June 16, 1884.The following obituaries are for them.
Funeral services for Mrs. J. H. Haas was held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock - February 1, at the Renwick Baptist church. The Rev. Harry N. Throckmorton of Eagle Grove had charge of the service. He was assisted by the Rev. S. C. Blumhagen.
Mrs. J. H. Haas was born at Pontiac, Illinois, July 17, 1864 and died at Britt, Iowa, January 29, 1946. Her husband preceded her in death In April 1939, and one child died in infancy. She is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. J. L. Dunfee of Britt, Mrs. George Corner of Rockford, Ill., and Arthur Haas of Eagle Grove. She also leaves seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Burial was at the Elmwood cemetery. Those from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Jennie Gran from Milford, Mr. and Mrs. Don Brayton of Somers, Mr. and Mrs. George Corner of Rockford. Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Haas, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Sanders and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schamburg, all of Eagle Grove.

May 5, 1939Quite a number from here attended the funeral of J. H. Haas at Eagle Grove last Thursday afternoon. Mr. Haas lived in Boone township for many years moving to Eagle Grove a few years ago.

J.L. Dunfee and Lola Haas were married in September 1945.Otho Leroy Haas [6 May 1893 in Pipestone, Minnesota -- 9 February 1981 in Eagle Grove, Wright County, Iowa; married Matilda Anna Van Horn Bordwell on 24 August 1921 in Cherokee, Iowa.
Myrtle Naomi Haas married Harley Ray Gillespie on 7 July 1906 in Clarion, Wright County, Iowa. She later married George W. Corner. She was born 20 December 1889 and died 22 August 1972. Harley Gillespie (1889 - 1916); George W. Corner (1904 - 1946); They are buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Renwick, Iowa.

Services for Mrs. Myrtle N. Corner, 82, who died Tuesday afternoon in Odd Fellows Home, Mason City, were held Friday, Aug. 25, in Baptist Church at Renwick. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Among survivors are sons and a daughter: C. M. Gillespie, Renwick; Donald Gillespie, Clarion; and Mrs. Velva Crosson, Rockford, Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a brother, Otho Haas,
