By September 11, 1918, Nicholas (born 6 June 1879) and Lillian were living at 1127 South 2nd St., Fort Dodge, Webster County, Iowa. He was a switchman on the railroad (probably the reason they lived in Eagle Grove). By June 5, 1917, Leo (born 3 Nov 1890, Alton, Iowa) was living at 424 S. 2nd, Norfolk, Nebraska with his wife, Nancy and working for the Farmer's Grain and Livestock in Norfolk. Source: WWI Draft Registrations. According to the 1930 Seattle, King, WA census, Nicholas and Lillian's children, George M., Franklin J., Mildred B., Robert G. (all born Iowa); Mary (born SD) and Melvin (born Washington);
