Ferol (from Glenwood Cemetery records) Jones was born in 1903 and died 17 April 1919. She would have been in the Goldfield class of 1919. The oldest living alumni of Goldfield High School is from the class of 1925 and is 98 years of age. He would have been about 6 years younger than Ferol and in junior high school at the time. His name is Robert P Hansen, PO Box 13, Goldfield, Iowa 50542 (515)825-3342. There was an influenza epidemic in 1918/1919 which may have been her cause of death.

Have you contacted descendants of her other brothers and sisters? They may have family stories about her. Do you have an obituary? I am certain there was probably a newspaper article. You should also contact the Goldfield Alumni Association at http://www.goldfieldalumni.com/main.htm Perhaps they have access to school annuals etc.
