The cemetery records for Belmond that I have access to only list Danford N. Moon (12 October 1827-13 May 1908). Did Sarah remarry between 1908 and ca. 1930 when she died in Wisconsin and perhaps has a different last name than Moon? Do you have an exact date of death for Sarah?
Franklin Grove/Evergreen Cemetery, Belmond, Iowa:
Eugene C. Kinney 25 Jan 1852 – 14 December 1936
Gertrude A. (Moon) Kinney 10 June 1856 – 10 Dec 1933I do not have access to the Belmond newspapers to locate Gertrude’s obituary, however, in the 1900 Belmond, Wright County, Iowa federal census, Eugene C. and Gertrude Kinney are enumerated with a daughter, Edith, born April 1877 in Wisconsin. Marriage records show Edith Kinney marrying Duren L. Nagle on 27 Dec 1900 in Wright County. They had two sons according to Duren’s obituary in the “Wright County Monitor”: Eugene I. Nagle and Kay C. Nagle. Edith (Kinney) Nagle died 15 October 1952.
