Jeff Odom, 52, of Northwood, died January 3, 2011, at his home in Northwood. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at the First Lutheran Church, Northwood, with Rev. Deniel Hart and Rev. Barbara Wills officiating. Burial was in Pilot Knob Cemetery, rural Forest City. Visitation was held after 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the church.
Jeff Odom was born October 15, 1958, to James and Marilyn (Pederson) Odom in Forest City, Iowa. He was a man of very strong faith, a loving father and liked to garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carrissa; and two brothers, Thomas and Timothy. Jeff is survived by his daughters, Sarah Renee and Amy Lynn Odom of Northwood; brothers, Mike (Stella) Odom of Manly and Doug Odom; one sister, Lori Odom of Kensett; and uncle, Mike Odom. Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, was in charge of arrangements.
