My Grandfathers adoption

My Grandfather was born in 1910 in Sioux City Iowa, his fathers name was Carl Anderson, mothers was LUlu, he took his Adopted fathers name Of King and changed his name to Theodore Anderson King, His step father was named Francis(Frank) King,. Theodore married Myrtle Carter and had a son Named Robert Theodore King on Sept 21,1931, Sioux City Iowa
Any help would be greatly appreciated
