Prentice Yeomans

Looking for information concerning Prentice Yeomans, b. CT approx. 1780. Moved to Sergeant Bluff area of Iowa in mid 1800s. Believe that he died there in 1875. His son, Benjamin P. Yeomans was also a resident of the area and had a large family. Would like any additional info to confirm these facts and any historical info that might be available about their roles, if any, in the region.
