Looking for information concerning my grandmother, Emma Wenzel Hogenson Desmond Williams (1892-1952)and her sister Nettie Wenzel Ulrich (1890-???). Both were well-known personalities in Sioux City during the period 1912-1952+)particularly in the area known as the south bottoms and east end (Court Street). Emma was a fixture in later years in the Moville area and is buried in the local cemetery there as Emma Williams next to her last husband, Harry Williams. Nettie was last seen at her sister's funeral in Moville in 1952 and according to Emma's obituary was a resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Nettie's last known husband was a Frank Ulrich who was killed during a family dispute in Sioux City in 1928. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I reside in Maryland and am unable to local research in Sioux City.
