Jonas Rygg and daughter Alma went to Kendallville Saturday to attend the funeral of John Jacobson.

John Jacobson, who underwent an operation for a very bad case of appendicitis at the Mercy hospital two weeks ago, died on Thursday last. Our sympathy goes out to the bereaved wife and children in their loss. Our community also feel the loss of a good citizen and neighbor. The funeral will be held to-day at the Fremont church, of which he was a faithful member.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name as Johan and that he was born Dec. 16, 1862 and died May 7, 1914. He is buried in the Fremont Cemetery.
