On Dec. 30 occurred the marriage of Clinton E. Carter to Miss Anna Felt at Scottville, Mich. It was planned that Rev. H. C. Carter should be the officiating minister for his nephew but on inquiry it was found that the state laws of Michigan required one to have a pastorate in the state to make it legal.
