Thanks for the reply. Some of this we had already found but some was new and food for thought. A tree on FamilySearch.org gives a death date for Lucinda as 1883 (but no location or source reference) which would fit the appearance of Lucinda in the home of her son in 1880 but not in 1885. It also would fit the property being sold for back taxes in 1883.

Would there possibly be probate records available that might show a will or administrative proceedings of distribution of assets if Lucinda died in Webster county?
