Ina Echelberger Williams was my Great Great Grandmother. I have one photo of her, taken in Lehigh in 1950. I believe she passed on in 1954. I also have a copy of the history she wrote. Ina and John A. Williams had a daughter, Daisy. With her first husband, Roscoe Newkirk, Daisy bore my Grandma, Doris Muriel Newkirk Knutson, in Lehigh. Doris' son, Gerald Lee Knutson, born in Fort Dodge, is my father. Doris passed away on Dad's birthday, 14 January 2002, in Bellingham, Washington. Beyond Ina's booklet, and the info on the Echelberger site, I have little information about the earlier family. You may or may not be aware of the situation between Daisy and Roscoe, that forced Daisy to divorce him, and consequently have their three children, including my Grandma Doris, taken from her and placed in an orphanage. I believe that orphanage was in Fort Dodge. Daisy's second husband was Joseph Lynch. I am interested in Daisy, and any info at all about any orphanage in the area of Otho, Lehigh, and Fort Dodge that could have been the one Grandma grew up in. I can help you with the line through Daisy and Doris, if you're interested in that. Thank you : )
