Chase A. Dodson, 14, of Dayton, Iowa, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at the Southeast Webster-Grand High School in Burnside. Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5-8 p.m. at Southeast Webster-Grand High School. Carson-Stapp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Chase A. Dodson, 14, of Dayton, Iowa, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Chase's final act was to give the gift of life through tissue, eye, and bone donation.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2008, at the Southeast Webster-Grand High School in Burnside, Iowa. Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Southeast Webster-Grand High School. Carson - Stapp Funeral Home in Dayton is in charge of the arrangements.
Chase Allen Dodson was born on June 17, 1994, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of Kevin and Robyn (Corbit) Dodson. Chase was a freshman at Southeast Webster Grand High School where he was involved in golf, wrestling, baseball, and football. Chase was a hard worker and helped out at the family business, Robyn's Nest as well as helping his dad with detailing cars.
Chase loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends. He spent many hours swimming at his grandmother Colleen's home in Dayton before she passed away. Chase also loved hunting and had recently completed the hunter's safety course with his father.
Survivors include his parents, Kevin and Robyn Dodson of Dayton, Iowa; sister, Shaunna Ulrick of Des Moines, Iowa; two brothers, Brandon Dodson of Webster City, Iowa, Dane Housken, and Jamie Davis his special sister of Cheyenne, Wyoming; grandparents, Ron and Shirley Corbit of Bradford, Arkansas, and Benny and Pat Dodson of Boone, Iowa; great grandmother, Louise Cagle of Bradford, Arkansas; great aunt and uncle, Evelyn and Doug Fletcher of Fremont, Nebraska; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Colleen Stack and Thelma Dodson.
