Former Senator Healey Dead.
Former State Senator Thomas D. Healey died at Fort Dodge of pneumonia. Ex-Senator Healey was born near Lansing and moved to Fort Dodge in 1883. For years he was legal counsel for the Great Western railway. He was elected twice as state senator. In 1908 he was made district attorney for the Illinois Central railroad from Fort Dodge west of the Mississippi, which position he held at the time of his death.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the spelling of his last name as Healy. He was born May 25, 1865 and died January 15, 1909. He is buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
