Hi, is anyone here researching or related to Anna Catherine Harding Hardt who married Harlow W. Mills in Warren County, Iowa about January of 1814. I am trying to figure out who Anna is (their marriage says her father was Herman Hardt from Germany; her death again lists Herman but also lists mother is Anna with no surname). I see other Herman HARDTS in Minnesota - but don't seem to find one that actually matches this one. And her name listed as Anna Harding Hardt on the marriage make it seem as if her maiden name was Harding not Hardt - but both marriage and death certs clearly state her father is Herman Hardt --- so very confusing! Any help would be appreciated! [By the way - I live in Ohio, so can't easily get to local sources for them).
